Ugghhh….. I’m the worst daughter.
Asked my dad if he would want to go to a performance
with me, for this thing they were putting on at the college.
It was more of a whatever thing to me, but apparently my dad
was more excited for it than I thought.
Per usual, instead of getting tickets ahead of time, or even seeing
if I could get them ahead of time…. I wait till the day of to call the
box office. They’re sold out. For that night, and the next night.
I didn’t think my dad was so looking forward to it, until I saw that he
had showered and already laid out his clothes for the night.
Leaving me feeling awful for getting his hopes up and having to tell him
that we wouldn’t be going after all.
This feeling sucks….. its like when they tell you you’ve disappointed them,
but worse.
